Job Summary

  The Daily Titan is a student-run medial organization established in 1960 in delivering reliable location news to CSU, Fullerton community. The Daily Titan Graphic Designer is an integral part of the Daily Titan newspaper as these individuals ensure branding consistency, ensure branding consistency, and assist with design assets while working under a tight deadline to support the storytelling of the newspaper.

Graphic Design creates and designs layouts for print and digital news, assist staff with graphics and promotional materials, and prepares files for production using Adobe Creative Suite. Assist with the mock up designs of banners and other graphics. This role involves collaborating with the marketing team, ensuring brand consistency, assisting with design assets while working under tight deadlines to support storytelling. We attending meetings with advisors and teams members. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Must work independently.
Ability to learn and perform assigned work using independent judgement.
Work cooperatively and professionally with faculty, staff, and other students.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong time management.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
