Are you seeking a flexible, short-term administrative role at the University of Queensland?

UQ Temps offers a wide range of diverse casual opportunities across the University in areas such as:

• General Administration

• Executive Assistant

• Student and Academic Administration

• Research Administration

• Junior Web Developer

Your responsibilities may vary depending on the role but can include:

• Managing electronic diaries, booking meetings and coordinating travel arrangements.

• Organising committee/meeting activities, including preparing agendas, scheduling and minute taking.

• Maintaining administration systems and managing daily priorities.

• Organising domestic and international travel arrangements as required.

• Conducting research and data analysis to support projects and reports.

• Liaising with staff, students, and external stakeholders.

• Ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures for documentation, correspondence and matters processed through the office.

• Assist with the design, development, implementation and evaluation of Website using Drupal.

• Performing other administrative duties as required.

About You

We are looking for candidates who bring:

• Relevant experience in administration, business or executive support.

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

• Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters.

• Strong organisational and problem solving skills.

• The ability to quickly adapt and contribute in fast-peace environments.

• A proactive and flexible attitude to meet the needs of different teams.

• A broad understanding of administration procedures and structures.

• Experience in web applications development using Drupal (for web focused role).
