Join an industry leader with over 30 years of experience designing and building innovative automation and test systems for the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker/Machinist to manufacture precision tooling and components that support cutting-edge manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to produce precision components.
  • Measure, inspect, and verify parts using precision measuring instruments.
  • Fit, assemble, and modify tooling, fixtures, and machined components as required.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure all work meets specifications.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members on manufacturing solutions.
  • Train and assist operators with machine setup and best practices as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of tool & die, machining, or apprenticeship experience.
  • Proficient with manual mills, lathes, and precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform shop math calculations.
  • Experience with CAM programming, AutoCAD, and tool fabrication beneficial.
