Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer).
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Lead, supervise, and mentor crews performing electrical and traffic signal installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate daily work plans, assign tasks, and ensure efficient crew and equipment utilization.
• Conduct daily safety briefings, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards.
• Oversee installation, wiring, testing, and repair of traffic signals, controllers, cabinets, and related electrical components.
• Manage overhead and underground electrical distribution tasks including conduit installation, trenching, cabling, and terminations.
• Proficiency with DOT systems and standards for Traffic Signals, Roadway Lighting, and Signs.
• Perform signal turn ons, system cutovers, and intersection troubleshooting.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly
Required Qualifications:
• 5 + years of experience in electrical or traffic signal installation; at least 2 years in a foreman or lead role.
• Strong working knowledge of overhead/underground distribution, traffic signal systems, and roadway lighting.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, electrical schematics, and traffic signal wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with MUTCD standards, NEC electrical codes, and DOT construction requirements.
• Experience operating and overseeing use of bucket trucks, excavators, trenchers, and related equipment.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift to 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications are strongly preferred.
Compensation:Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.
Hourly Range: $45.00 - $60.00/Hour
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
