Job description

VRC Investigations is currently expanding our Call Center Research Assistants Unit within our HOSPITAL CANVASS.COM division. Veracity Research Co. Investigations (VRC), is one of the nation’s leading and most experienced investigation companies.
HOSPITALCANVASS.COM, serves the insurance industry as a leading national service provider in researching and locating information request from clients. We currently have career opportunities for experienced, self-determined, and highly motivated individuals that would like to join our team of professionals in our efforts to deter and combat insurance fraud.
VRC is seeking qualified call center research assistants with nationwide call center experience. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the day-to-day insurance fraud defense investigations and operational needs for multi-state regions. As a key member of the VRC team, the research assistant will make outbound calls to medical facilities to validate worker’s compensation claims. The call center research assistant will complete tasks with other team members under management supervision. All team members must have good phone etiquette, excellent computer skills, be able to multi-task, and problem solve. This position is a full-time, non-exempt, position located in our corporate office in Denton, TX.

The successful candidate will have related experience in one or more of the follow areas:
  • Nationwide high-volume call center experience
  • Nationwide collections experience
  • Experience meeting deadlines
Core Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Outbound calls to different medical facilities, pharmacies and other related locations to determine medical history
  • Make 120 – 150 calls a day
  • Set up files for processing by facilities located within a provided geographical range
  • Meet departmental goals for outbound calls
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Track and report all information received
  • Format and edit canvass reports
  • Assist in ensuring canvasses are completed by deadlines
  • Assist other team members in daily functions.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Nationwide high call volume experience (1 year or more required)
  • Nationwide collections experience (1 year or more required)
  • Upbeat, positive demeanor with an attitude for success
  • Meet individual and team performance standards while maintaining good attendance and dependability
  • Show courtesy and professionalism on all calls to ensure a positive experience
  • Be highly motivated and possess the ability to work under little supervision
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively manage time, and understand directives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, decipher and summarize information quickly
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must pass a drug test and pre-employment testing
  • Upon hiring you must proficiently learn and utilize all electronic tools as required within the scope of this position to include the company's IMS case tracking system

Compensation:
