The Division ofEmergency/ Traumain the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

• Interpret Neuro, abdominal, and chest Imaging (body CTs, chest CTs, Neuro CTs, plain films), MR imaging of the body/ Neuro and diagnostic ultrasound.

• Takeevening/ after-hours/ weekend callsat UHTor at other locations as required.

• Supervise performance of technical personnel.

• Cover UMH, UMHC, Lennar and other satellites remotely from UHT; however, coverage at other areas may be necessary.

• Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of emergency imaging and diagnostic radiology.

• Provide diagnostic imaging consultations as requested.

• Provide emergency patient care related to imaging as required in the setting of a radiology practice.

• Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of emergency imaging and diagnostic imaging.

• Participation in the advancement and education ofdiagnostic radiologymedical students, residents, and fellows.

• Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.

• Accept assignments as determined by the department Chair.

COREQUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Medical Degree

• Diagnostic Radiology Residency

• Abdominal/ Body Imaging, MSK, Neuro or Emergency Fellowship

Certification and Licensing:

• American Board of Radiology Certified or Board Eligible

• Florida Medical License or Eligible

Experience:

• Competitive applicants willhave completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Abdominal/ Body Imaging, MSK, Neuro or EmergencyRadiology.

• Prior experience in a university faculty setting preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

• Interpret Neuro, abdominal, and chest Imaging (body CTs, chest CTs, Neuro CTs, plain films), MR imaging of the body/ Neuro and diagnostic ultrasound.

• In addition to the rich clinical experience, faculty will participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students.
