Job description

Placement Type:
Temporary
Salary:
$45-48 Hourly
Start Date:
Aug 3, 2026
Join a forward-thinking organization dedicated to delivering impactful online experiences through cutting-edge digital content and optimization. As a partner with Aquent, we're seeking innovative talent to drive our mission forward, contributing to a vibrant digital landscape that engages and informs our audience.
Are you a master of orchestration, ready to lead a high-impact initiative that will redefine our digital presence? We're looking for a dynamic leader to spearhead a massive content overhaul, transforming our online narrative and significantly expanding our reach. In this pivotal role, you will manage a cross-functional team, driving the creation and optimization of high-volume digital content that directly impacts our audience engagement and overall digital footprint.
What You'll Do
  • Project Orchestration & Workflow Management: Manage the end-to-end execution of a massive content overhaul, ensuring smooth handoffs across writers, quality assurance/fact-checkers, legal, and editors.
  • Volume & Production Tracking: Drive accountability across multi-stream outputs, including:
    • Scaling long-form Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) article production from 15 per month to 15+ per week.
    • Overhauling hundreds of web pages, adding FAQs across numerous pages, updating content descriptions, and refreshing metadata.
    • Managing video editing production workflows for testimonial and explainer content.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning: Track bandwidth, balance workloads, and oversee deliverables for a team of external and internal contractors (writers, editors, motion editors).
  • Quality & Escalation Control: Standardize review processes, ensuring critical content updates are flagged for legal or stakeholder review when necessary.
  • Status & Reporting: Maintain clear project status tracking, unblock team members, and keep leadership updated on timeline adherence and deliverable milestones.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • 4+ years of project management experience within a marketing agency, in-house creative department, or digital media environment managing large-scale content projects.
  • Demonstrated history of managing large-scale web operations, multi-writer content pipelines, or digital site refreshes (handling hundreds of pages/deliverables simultaneously).
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy and multiple shifting priorities.
  • Hands-on experience with project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello, ClickUp), Microsoft Teams/Office 365, and AI-assisted workflows or content generation tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Background in industries with strict compliance/fact-checking needs, such as education, healthcare, or other complex, regulated sectors.
  • Familiarity with modern content strategies, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) content structures.
