Job Title: Buyer/Planner
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 12 Months with possibilityย of extension
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
ย 
Job Description:ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Track/mitigate supply constraints
โ€ขย ย  ย Develop and maintain demand supply projection models
โ€ขย ย  ย Develop and maintain distribution resources planning models
โ€ขย ย  ย Lead cross functional meetings to execute action plansย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Evaluate warehouse nodes supply flow and target stocking levels
โ€ขย ย  ย Provide MPS priority mixย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Support EMEA and APAC order fulfillment
โ€ขย ย  ย Analyze NPI and sunsetting SKUs and provide timeline model
โ€ขย ย  ย Ability to data mine reports
โ€ขย ย  ย Investigate inventory problems, findย root causes, and deliver solutions with cross-functional departments
โ€ขย ย  ย Lead continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives

Required Skillsย 
  • A Supply Chain planner or Buyer/Planner for minimum of 5 years experience
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Able to model supply projections, andย build plans
Preferred Skillsย 
  • Experienced with ERP/MRP systemsย 
  • Self-starter, comfortable leading cross-regional and cross- functional meetings
  • Experience in the medical device industry ย 
Education
  • Preferred college degree or equivalent
Required Testing: Excel test and composition
