Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team, focusing on the data entry portions of clinical trials, documenting adverse events and serious adverse events, and managing patient-reported outcomes. This role involves handling monitor visits and creating IVRS kits for nurses. Initially, the position will not involve patient interaction, but eventually, the coordinator will screen and recruit patients for trials.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks related to clinical trials.
- Document adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).
- Manage patient-reported outcomes and ensure accurate data collection.
- Read and understand clinical trial protocols.
- Handle and follow up on monitor visits.
- Create IVRS kits for nurses.
- Screen and recruit patients for clinical trials.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in data entry and query resolution.
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems such as Inform and MediData Rave.
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Knowledge of the clinical trial process at the site level.
- Understanding of Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS).
- CITI training certification.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with oncology clinical trials.
- Experience in chart review and pre-screening patients.
- Ability to report adverse events accurately.
- Experience with regulatory processes, IRB submissions, and using Epic systems.
Work Environment
This role requires working Monday through Friday, with 8-hour days starting between 7:30 and 8:30 am and includes a 30-minute lunch break.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
