IsentCare is on demands|staffing agency. We provide staffing for Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities and other healthcare facilities.
A Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with residents in the Skilled Nursing Facility and Long Term Care Unit to provide physical and rehabilitation care. This position requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and an understanding of how to assess and address the needs of nursing home residents. The ideal candidate for our RN position has experience working with geriatric patients, strong communication skills and is a team player who is ready to take on new challenges.
Responsibilities:
Promote patients' independence and quality of life by performing routine check-ins and vital sign readings.
Plan and perform treatments to meet the specific health needs of the patient.
Be responsible for administering prescribed medications on time.
Monitor patient's progress and well-being on a regular basis.
Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in a nursing home environment.
Record patient histories, perform various diagnostic tests, administer medications, and develop patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
Observe patient progress and record observations in patient medical records.
Document patient interactions as needed.
Typically report to a manager or head of a unit|department.
Administer professional nursing care, which includes recording patient histories, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and developing patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.
Record observations and document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor.
Requirements:
Requires graduation from an approved nursing program.
Requires applicable Registered Nurse (RN) state license.
Minimum 3 months experience in post-acute care or in-patient hospital setting.
Pass a state-required background check.
