About the OpportunityStart as a Maintenance Apprentice supporting a high‑tech warehouse environment. You’ll work with conveyors, sensors, motors, and automated equipment while learning from experienced technicians.
What you’ll do:
- Install and repair equipment including conveyors and automated systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly
- Use hand/power tools, follow safety procedures, and support daily operations
Schedule: 4x10s (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat), 1st or 3rd shift

After 90 Days: Your Path to AdvancementExtended Education Program (Career Pipeline)Once selected, you’ll transition into a blended learning model:
- Full‑time paid technical schooling through partnered training providers
- On‑the‑job mentorship with higher level technicians
- Hands‑on training with robotics, automation, and advanced material‑handling systems
- Travel included during portions of the program (coordinated for you)
This program is designed to build long‑term skills in mechatronics, robotics, electrical troubleshooting, and automation — setting you up for advancement into higher‑level technician roles.
Basic QualificationsMeet one of the following:
- 1 year working with material‑handling equipment (conveyors, AVIK, PAC, IVY, etc.)
- Vocational/technical certificate
- 4 years military experience (any field)
Plus:
- Interest in a long‑term maintenance/automation career
- Ability to commit to full‑time work + future full‑time schooling
- Minimum assessment score: 40+

Work Environment
You will work in highly automated facilities that use advanced robotics, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment to move products efficiently through packaging and distribution processes. The role involves working around moving machinery, robotics work cells, and high‑performance manufacturing systems, often in a large warehouse or fulfillment center setting. Shifts may be long, up to 12 hours, and can include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; specific shift assignments are based on operational requirements and cannot be guaranteed. The position is physically demanding and requires regular walking, standing, climbing ladders and gangways, and lifting up to 49 lbs, as well as frequent bending, stretching, and reaching above and below waist level. You will use computers and standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with tools and test equipment for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components. Work is performed in compliance with strict safety standards, and you are expected to follow all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies while working cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.84 - $26.84/hr.
