Job description

We are hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Loader / Forklift Operator for a temp-to-hire, full-time position in Victorville, working Monday through Saturday on the day shift. The role involves safely loading and unloading primarily flatbed trailers and handling heavy materials with a forklift. Candidates must have previous flatbed loading/unloading experience, strong forklift skills, and experience safely handling heavy loads of approximately 2,500 lbs. per piece. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload flatbed trailers using a forklift.
  • Safely and accurately position heavy materials on trailers.
  • Assist with receiving, verifying, and documenting shipments.
  • Use basic computer systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel for daily shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

  • Previous flatbed loading and unloading experience required.
  • Strong forklift operating experience with heavy loads.
  • Experience safely loading and positioning materials on flatbed trailers.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, judgment, dependability, and safety awareness.
