Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Quality Control/ Machine Operator for a vinyl graphics and specialty coating manufacturer in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $19.50/hr with up to 2+ hours of daily overtime available. In this role, you will load and thread material rolls onto a coating machine, set up components per work order, and unload finished rolls to the staging area. This is a long-term placement opportunity on a consistent overnight schedule.


Pay: $19.50/hr

Schedule: 2nd shift- 2pm- 10:30 pm Must have weekend availability.

Location: Placentia, CA

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

  • Monitor coating machine operation throughout the shift to ensure output meets quality standards.
  • Set up and align material rolls on the unwind shaft and thread material through the coating machine.
  • Configure pump, tote, hose, liner, and adhesive components according to the work order.
  • Read shop orders, material part numbers, and weekly product schedules to confirm correct setup.
  • Unload finished rolls from the machine and move them to the designated staging area.


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating or tending automated coating, laminating, or converting machines.
  • Ability to read and follow shop orders, part numbers, or work instructions.
  • Experience working overnight or 3rd shift in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with roll-to-roll material handling or web-fed equipment.
  • Background in vinyl, label, film, or specialty materials production.
