Bring your manufacturing or forklift experience to a company that believes in developing its employees. This locally owned manufacturer produces precision firearm parts and has built a reputation for its family-like culture, long-term employees, and commitment to promoting from within.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity that's perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in quality work, and wants to build a career in custom precision manufacturing.

As a Material Handler, you'll play an important role in keeping production running by making sure CNC machinists always have the materials they need. You'll receive raw materials, cut them to job-specific lengths, and deliver them to production. You'll also have the opportunity to earn your forklift certification while learning new skills in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.
Material Handler Duties:
  • Read job sheets and cut bar stock to custom lengths for production orders.
  • Operate a CNC saw to prepare raw materials for machining.
  • Operate a forklift (and become forklift certified if needed) to move materials into inventory and throughout the facility.
  • Use a computer to track inventory and production jobs.
  • Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
Schedule:
  • Day Shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on your forklift experience.
Material Handler Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing or forklift experience.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work independently after training.
