Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to move metal forms and concrete products. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial forklift

  • Maintain equipment as needed

  • Pull and stage orders for shipment

  • Fill independent demands for material requisitions

  • Assist in production process including painting and winterizing structures

  • Keep area safe, clean and organized

  • Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements
 

  • Must have experience operating a forklift - at least 1 year is preferred

  • High school diploma/equivalent

  • Ability to perform routine inspection, fueling and preventive maintenance duties (lubrication, cleaning, battery change)

  • Ability to record and understand numerical values

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members

  • Must have math, communication and comprehension skills to interface with transportation, dispatch, and direct trailer hitch operations

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
