Your day as a Mechanical Design Engineer
The Mechanical Design Engineer at CNC Solutions LLC plays a pivotal role in driving project success by collaborating closely with project team engineers to conceptualize and design functional systems. This position requires a keen focus on delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring mechanical functionality across various assignments. Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential, encompassing skills in modeling, assemblies, drawings, sheet metal, weldments, BOMs, and configurations. The engineer must effectively communicate with project teams, peers, and management to ensure all design directions and changes are clear. Responsibilities also include entering BOMs into ERP software and conducting thorough research on automation system components.
Adherence to quality and safety standards is paramount, along with an understanding of mechanical and fluid power principles.
