Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to support a large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative involving the migration of legacy business applications from a traditional mainframe environment to a modern Linux-based cloud platform.
This role is focused on systems administration and platform support, ensuring the stability, performance, and ongoing maintenance of critical enterprise applications running on Linux infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Linux administration, cloud environments, and Rocket Software (formerly Micro Focus) technologies supporting COBOL-based workloads.
The successful candidate will join an established migration program and play a key role in supporting project completion, operational readiness, knowledge transfer activities, and long-term infrastructure support.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role is well-suited for a Linux Subject Matter Expert (SME) who has experience supporting Rocket/Micro Focus environments and enjoys working at the intersection of legacy systems and modern cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate is self-driven, technically strong, and comfortable owning critical Linux platforms within a complex enterprise environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
