Savard is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist in Broussard, LA!We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with experience setting up and operating vertical mills
Key Requirements:
  • CNC vertical mill/VMC setup and operating experience
  • Ability to set up, program, and run CNC machinery
  • Knowledge of G-code, tooling, offsets, and machine adjustments
  • Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers/calipers
  • Experience machining carbon steel; oilfield/valve machining a plus
  • SMART Machine Tool SV-5 or similar CNC vertical mill experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Shifts:
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • 1 hr unpaid lunch
