Job description

  • Preference will be given to military veterans with an honorable discharge.
  • Assist in the opening, closing, operations and maintenance of a foldable temporary structures call FORTS units
  • Assist in inventorying, moving and palletizing of all equipment
  • Oversee the overall operations of all generators, light carts, bathrooms trailers, UTVs, Oxygen Trailers, etc...
  • Assist in the cleaning of equipment, trailers, and FORTS units
  • Reliable transportation to and from work is required
  • Able and willing to operate a small and large forklift
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, and able to easily follow directions
  • Ability to problem solve, and ability to work independently, and collaborate with others
  • Dependable, eager to learn, proactive, self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail and an advocate for impeccable product quality and service
  • Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, lift, squat, bend, and reach easily
  • Must be able to hold, lift, push and pull equipment up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per day
  • Must be able to work safety in outdoor environments, in all types of weather conditions, including rain and snow
  • Must be able to continuously climb and descend stairs and work at heights of up to 40’
  • Normal work schedule is a 8 hr. shift (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)
  • Occasional required travel (<7 days) four times a year to deliver new Forts units and equipment
  • Occasional required disaster related travel (15-45 days) once or twice a year, to deploy Forts units and equipment

Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
