Are you a proactive and skilled Identity Security Engineer ready to make a significant impact? We're seeking a talented individual to join our engineering team and play a crucial role in strengthening our security posture. In this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating emerging threats, designing robust detection mechanisms, and ensuring the highest levels of system integrity. Your expertise will directly contribute to protecting our digital environment and maintaining client confidence through meticulous troubleshooting and innovative security solutions.
**What you'll do:**
* Monitor new and emerging security threats from various sources, staying ahead of potential vulnerabilities.
* Assist with creating product detection mechanisms based on emerging threats to proactively defend our systems.
* Troubleshoot complex security issues, including analyzing network traces, to ensure seamless operations and maintain client assurance and confidence.
**What you'll bring:**
* 2-5 years of security implementation experience.
* Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions experience, specifically with federation technologies.
* Experience working with Docker technologies and Kubernetes.
* Working knowledge of Linux, Firewalls, Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Intrusion Detection/Prevention (IDS/IPS), and penetration testing.
* Strong technical track record and hands-on experience with many of the following technologies: L2/L3 firewalls, application layer security, anti-virus solutions, spyware/malcode tools, DDOS mitigation, traffic profiling/anomaly detection, wireless security, and VoIP security.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
* Good communication skills and a self-starter mentality.
**Bonus points for:**
* Experience with passwordless authentication solutions.
