Position Overview

Ayers Saint Gross is seeking a creative and strategic Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our ambitious Marketing and Business Development team. In this role, you'll help tell the story of our design work through high-quality proposals, presentations, and marketing materials across print and digital platforms. This work supports the firm's mission of shaping the built environment through thoughtful, beautiful, and sustainable design. 


This position has a vital role in firmwide marketing, business development, and communications, leading the development of compelling content that strengthens our brand, supports thought leadership, and helps win new work. The ideal candidate has exceptional graphic design skills using Adobe InDesign, and a strong eye for layout, detail, and visual storytelling. You are responsible for producing polished, design-forward materials that communicate the firm's values, design thinking, and technical expertise in clear and engaging ways. 


We're looking for a creative self-starter and team player who is highly organized, an excellent writer and communicator, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong drive to win work and elevate the firm's brand. 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production of competitive proposal submissions, qualifications packages, and interview materials, coordinating internal teams, consultants, schedules, and deliverables to ensure high-quality, on-brand submissions. 
  • Manage the full proposal process from kickoff through final production and submission. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the firm's portfolio and practice capabilities, shaping compelling stories that highlight firm expertise. 
  • Develop project narratives and maintain a cohesive, well-organized library of marketing assets, including project sheets, resumes, case studies, and visual assets to support pursuits and business development efforts. 
  • Create proposal and marketing content in collaboration with project teams, subject matter experts, and practice leaders to strengthen storytelling and messaging. 
  • Manage project, client, and pursuit data in firmwide databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility. 
  • Serve as a brand advocate, ensuring consistency and high-quality design across all marketing and communication materials. 
  • Research prospective clients, markets, and competitors to support go/no-go decisions and pursuit strategy. 
  • Create presentation materials and slide decks for interviews, client meetings, and internal use. 
  • Participate in marketing and business development meetings and conferences, collaborating across teams to support firmwide initiatives. 
  • Contribute to awards submissions, communications, photography, and industry events, as needed. 


Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, including multi-page proposal production, custom layouts, and brand-compliant design 
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft PowerPoint 
  • Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop preferred 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PC environment) 
  • Familiarity with Vantagepoint and Open Asset 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, graphic design, or a related field  
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the A/E/C industry  
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication 
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts, establish timelines, and prioritize deadlines 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment

The salary range for this position is $70,000-90,000 annually. The actual offered salary for this position will vary depending on multiple factors including the candidate's qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. The salary range listed above does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, employee stock ownership grants, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
