Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will be part of a yard crew responsible for safely and efficiently moving, organizing and assisting in the production of precast concrete products of the highest quality standards. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders

  • Pull and stage orders for shipment

  • Load customer trucks based on ship tickets

  • Push aggregate material utilizing a loader

  • Complete weekly equipment inspections

  • Keep area safe, clean and organized

  • Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred

  • Experience operating forklifts with > 18k lb. capacity

  • Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred

  • Knowledge of basic math and measurements

  • Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
