Candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility are considered local. References: Two references are required. References must be supervisor-level or above, from the unit the candidate is being submitted for, and dated within 1 year of the start date or from the candidate s most recent employer. Return Staff: Former staff must be separated for at least 1 year before applying to travel positions. DNR / Rehire Eligibility: Rady Children s and Children s Hospital of Orange County have merged to form Rady Children s Health. Any clinician who is a DNR from Rady s will not be considered for CHOC. Rehire eligibility for a return CHOC traveler who was cancelled from Rady s must be reviewed by CHOC leadership.
