Job description

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Global Jordan Accessories Merchandising team defines the vision, strategy, and assortment for the Jordan Accessories business. This role partners across Merchandising, Product, Design, Planning, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Marketplace, and Leadership teams to deliver consumer-led growth. Reports to the Senior Manager, Global Brand Initiatives Merchandising and has no direct reports.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Jordan Brand is seeking a highly strategic, consumer-obsessed merchant who brings a powerful combination of product intuition, consumer connection, and business acumen. This individual possesses a strong balance of art and science, pairing deep curiosity for sport, culture, youth, fashion, retail, and marketplace trends with the analytical rigor needed to make sound business decisions. They are passionate about understanding what is next, identifying opportunities before they become obvious, and translating insights into compelling product and assortment strategies.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and embraces ownership. They are resourceful, proactive, and confident voicing a point of view while remaining open to healthy debate and diverse perspectives. They influence across functions without relying on authority, build trust quickly, and are comfortable navigating conflict in pursuit of stronger outcomes. This role is less about prior Accessories experience and more about exceptional merchandising talent, leadership potential, and the ability to elevate both the business and the people around them. Jordan Brand is looking for someone who can be viewed as a future leader within the merchandising organization and who consistently demonstrates the capacity to anticipate challenges, solve problems, and deliver results with limited direction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 5+ years of merchandising, buying, product management, retail, or related experience. Highly experienced Senior Merchants ready for an elevated leadership opportunity are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to develop consumer-led assortment and line plan strategies that drive marketplace and business results.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams (Internally and 3rd Party Vendors), aligning stakeholders, and leading through complexity and ambiguity.
  • Passion for consumer behavior, product, sport, culture, fashion, retail, and marketplace trends, with the ability to translate insights into action.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will drive the global merchandising strategy for Jordan Accessories, translating consumer, marketplace, and business insights into multi-season product and assortment plans. You will influence key decisions across the product creation process while partnering with teams across the organization to create compelling consumer experiences and accelerate business growth.
  • You will define and evolve the long-term merchandising strategy for the Jordan Accessories business, identifying opportunities to drive consumer relevance, marketplace differentiation, and sustainable growth.
  • You will build and manage multi-season line plans that connect consumer insights, product opportunities, marketplace needs, and business objectives into a clear assortment vision.
  • You will partner closely with Product, Design, Planning, Marketing, Consumer Insights, 3rd Party Vendors, Marketplace, and Geography teams to shape product direction and align priorities across the business.
  • You will proactively identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive decisions forward, bringing clarity and momentum even when direction is limited or conditions are changing.
  • You will leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to assess portfolio health, guide investment decisions, and continuously improve business performance.
  • You will represent Merchandising through key product creation and commercial milestones, influencing outcomes and advocating for the consumer at every stage of the process.
  • You will navigate competing priorities, diverse stakeholder perspectives, and complex business challenges while maintaining a clear point of view and delivering against critical objectives.

We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed. If you discover, as you navigate our application process, that you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please complete the Candidate Accommodation Request Form.
