Job description

Our client is an insurance company. They seek a temp Treasury Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.


Responsibilities

  • Administer the Kyriba Treasury Management System, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and effective internal controls
  • Maintain cash forecasts, process treasury payments, and support daily cash management activities
  • Review daily cash accounting, budget codes, accounting rules, and general ledger postings
  • Reconcile daily cash positions, bank balances, and treasury transactions to accounting records
  • Manage corporate liquidity in accordance with investment policies, optimizing cash availability and capital preservation
  • Prepare treasury reports, cash position analyses, collateral monitoring, and ad hoc financial reporting
  • Coordinate bank account administration, including account openings, closures, KYC documentation, and banking authorizations
  • Investigate banking discrepancies, resolve transaction issues, and oversee the annual bank confirmation process
  • Collaborate with Finance, Audit, and external banking partners to support treasury operations and compliance
  • Lead treasury process improvements and strategic initiatives to strengthen controls and operational efficiency


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related function
  • Experience with treasury management systems (Kyriba) required
  • Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and treasury controls
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (experience with CODA or similar ERP (Workday) systems a plus)
