Knitting Machine Operator | $13.75 per hour | 3rd Shift

Job Description
A well-established textile manufacturer is seeking Knitting Machine Operators for its third-shift production team. In this role, you will monitor assigned knitting machines, verify yarn and thread setup, inspect finished products, and help maintain quality and productivity standards. This position requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to remain active throughout the shift. Candidates must also be available for overtime and weekend work when needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor assigned knitting machines and verify the correct yarn and thread are being used
  • Thread machines and check for knots, lint, and proper thread tension
  • Inspect socks for quality and flag machines that require technician support
  • Move full collection cans into the knitting aisle using proper pushing and pulling techniques
  • Clean assigned machines, maintain the work area, and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to understand knitting specification sheets and follow instructions
  • Knowledge of knitting processes, yarn types, and quality standards
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
