Job description

National Star Services is a 28-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Kitchen Helpers for our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018.

This may be the perfect job for you if you are in search of a temp-to-hire position that could lead to a long-lasting career.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a team, creating high-end products served daily to hundreds of international airline guests!
  • Assist chefs and cooks with different tasks in the kitchen: food preparation, cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing small dishes, food platting and setting up airline catering trays.
  • Read, understand and follow menu specifications.
  • Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy.
  • Comply with hygiene, quality and safety standards at all times.

Schedule:

Monday - Sunday (Two days off during the week)

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

 Weekend availability required

Hourly Pay Rate:

$17.50/hr.

**Bi-WEEKLY PAY**

Requirements:

  • Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
  • Bilingual (Speak English & Spanish)
  • Slip Resistant shoes required for safety at work.
  • Have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
  • Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
