RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking to hire multiple 5yr+ Java Spring Boot Cloud and React/Angular Java Spring Boot NoSQL Cloud Engineers in Houston, TX. This is an opportunity for full-time employment with the client.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software engineer. You will be at the center of a rapidly growing team and applying your engineering skillsets to drive innovation of mission-critical systems. You will have a chance to make a huge impact as we embark on an exciting journey to scale out and modernize our core applications and deliver more for our business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
* Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
* Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
* Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
* Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
* Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
* Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
* Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
REQUIREMENTS:
Java Spring Boot Cloud - Hires - Senior SW Engineer:
* Java v8+ Spring Boot, 5 years minimum; Prefer over 5 years (Team uses Java v17)
* Cloud; Prefer AWS (Team uses AWS ECS/Docker and EKS/Kubernetes)
* UI, React++/Angular+ (Team Uses React V17)
Nice to have skills:
* NoSQL uses MongoDB
* SQL
* Docker/Kubernetes
* PLUSES: SQL & NoSQL - both, AWS Cert/Risk Domain
React/Angular Java Spring Boot NoSQL Cloud - Hires - VP or Senior SW Engineer (30% UI):
* 5 years+ React Java Spring Boot - All 3 must have skills; 5 years; Ideal hire over 5 year
* React.js or open to other front end development experience - all work in React
70% Bkend, 30% UI - Need 1+ of below:
* Non-SQL, team uses MongoDB
* Cloud computing, such as AWS - team uses AWS ECS/Docker and EKS/Kubernetes
* System design and common pattern - Must for 603
* Pluses: SQL and NoSQL - both, AWS Cert/Risk Domain
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
