Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Confluent Kafka Solution Architect to design and architect enterprise event streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and the Confluent Platform. The ideal candidate will lead solution design, define integration strategies, and guide implementation teams in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance streaming architectures.

Required Skills

* 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform.
* Strong hands-on experience with Confluent Platform and Confluent Cloud.
* Expertise in Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, Schema Registry, REST Proxy, and Confluent Control Center.
* Strong understanding of Kafka internals, KRaft architecture, stream processing, and event-driven architecture.
* Experience with Apache Flink, Stream Governance, Data Lineage, RBAC, and Audit Logs.
* Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
* Experience integrating Kafka with databases, APIs, and microservices.
* Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Kubernetes, and Confluent for Kubernetes (CFK).
* Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation (Ansible), and DevOps practices.
* Confluent certifications (Developer, Administrator, or Flink Developer) are a plus.
* Experience with Open-source Kafka, AWS MSK, or Cloudera Kafka is desirable.
