Job description

Position Facility: Countryside

 Our manufacturing members are the heart of our organization. Position Overview

Pay Range: $27.19/hr - $28.90/hr + $2.00 Shift Premium
Hours: 9:00pm - 5:30am, Monday - Friday (Overtime as production demands)

Responsibilities

   Work together with all Members to obtain World Class results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies
   Grow, develop and stretch yourself by continuing to find new and better ways to meet your commitments to yourself, your team and to Johnsonville.
   Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire "superlative" performance in order to support "The Johnsonville Way".
   Learn to use Excel, Word and other computer programs
   Learn and apply the SAP transactions and functions within the WM module
   Receive all raw materials and ensure raw material quality
   Follow FIFO procedures through scanning to stage locations physically moving materials, and following-up when returning used materials  
   Coordinate flow of inbound/outbound products and materials via phone, radio, email and face to face interactions.          
   Ready and prepare pallets for outbound shipment
   Load outbound trailers per specifications
   Restock and manage production supplies as needed  
   Operate refers and maintain proper trailer temps
   Safe and efficient use of lift trucks
   Stage production materials for production (trays, boxes film, etc.)
   Verify inventory and cycle count bins to ensure warehouse accuracy
   Communicate with purchasing members regarding "out of ordinary" circumstances with materials
   Unload and stack Trays from trailer onto pallets.

Experience

   1-2 years warehouse experience preferred

Skills

   Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people and personalities
   Strong organizational skills used to multi-task throughout the day
   Must enjoy being challenged with a variety of activities and responsibilities
   Demonstrated ability to solve problems and service customers
   Ability to safely drive forklift or electric pallet mover
   Strong written and verbal communication skills required
   Strong math skills for trouble shooting across production lines
   Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
   Ability to maintain all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
   Must be able to read production schedules
   Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English

Other Requirements

    Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
