\n A major Japanese financial institution in New York is seeking a Japanese\-English Bilingual KYC Client Liaison Analyst to support its Japanese Corporate Banking division.<\/span>

\n This is a client\-facing role serving as a key liaison between Japanese corporate clients, Relationship Managers, and internal compliance\/KYC teams. Prior banking experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong bilingual communication, client service, administrative, or operations experience are encouraged to apply.<\/span>

  • Serve as a primary contact for Japanese corporate clients regarding KYC and onboarding requirements.<\/span>

  • Collect and review corporate documents, ownership information, identification documents, and other KYC materials.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Coordinate new client onboarding and periodic\/ad\-hoc KYC reviews.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Communicate KYC requirements clearly to clients and Relationship Managers in both Japanese and English.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Respond to inquiries and follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure timely completion.<\/span>

  • Maintain and update client information in internal systems.<\/span>

  • Coordinate with Compliance, Relationship Managers, and other internal teams.<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>\n
      \n
    •  <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelor's degree required.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Fluent Japanese and English - speaking, reading, and writing - required.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • 1+ year of professional experience.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Banking, financial services, KYC\/AML, client service, operations, or administrative experience preferred.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong customer\-facing communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and AI\/productivity tools is a plus.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of KYC\/AML, CIP, CDD, EDD, OFAC, or FinCEN requirements is a plus, but not required.<\/span>
