・Job Title: Accounting Manager/ Senior Accountant

▶︎ Key Responsibilities:
• Record vendor invoices in the general ledger.
• Process vendor payments accurately and on time.
• Prepare routine A/R and A/P reports and coordinate invoice approvals with department managers.
• Record issued invoices and customer payments in the general ledger.
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, loans, and accrued expenses, and post entries to the accounting system.
• Execute and review monthly closing activities while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements and monthly reporting packages for headquarters.
• Perform fluctuation analysis for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation.
• Review accounting operations and recommend process improvements.
• Enhance accounting systems and operational efficiency.
• Support accounting and financial projects in a dynamic business environment.
• Serve as an accounting resource and subject matter expert for internal teams.

▶︎ The Right Candidate Will Possess:
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of general bookkeeping principles and accounting practices.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

▶︎ Preferred Qualifications:
• Japanese language proficiency.
• Experience working in a multinational or Japanese corporate environment.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Experience supporting audit activities and financial consolidations.
• Experience with SAP
