IMEG is hiring an Electrical Engineering New Graduate in Buffalo, NY. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one. You will work closely with experienced engineers and consultants to assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings.

In this role, you will support project execution, collaborate across disciplines, work within project budgets, and help communicate technical information with clients and project teams. You will contribute to education and government projects while advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with MEP2050 and AIA2030.

  • Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems, using engineering software and tools to develop designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards

  • Support the engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings

  • Interact with clients to understand needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively

  • Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication

  • Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documenting design decisions and client instructions while monitoring design progress

  • Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions

  • Work within the project's monetary budget and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations

  • Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements

State of New York Salary Range: $76,000 - $80,000 per year

The range listed above represents the base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work location identified above at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location.

Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications.
