Insight Global is seeking an AV & Collaboration Technician to join our Network Infrastructure Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining conference room technology, collaboration platforms, and audio visual systems across corporate environments.

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating exceptional meeting experiences and takes pride in solving technical challenges. This individual will support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco collaboration technologies, Webex platforms, room control systems, and enterprise AV hardware while partnering closely with Network Operations and IT teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing collaboration solutions.

Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning. Responsibilities
A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Support and troubleshoot conference room and collaboration technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco RoomOS devices, Webex platforms, Neat devices, Logitech peripherals, and related AV hardware.
  • Respond to AV support requests, diagnose issues, and restore service with minimal disruption to end users.
  • Provide meeting support for executive meetings, leadership events, town halls, training sessions, and other high-visibility business events.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, room health audits, firmware updates, and equipment validation.
  • Assist with conference room deployments, refresh projects, hardware replacements, and room modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with Network Operations and IT teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues affecting AV systems and collaboration services.
  • Support and maintain collaboration platforms including Teams Rooms, Cisco Control Hub, Webex Calling, Teams Calling, and related management portals.
  • Document room configurations, support procedures, standards, and operational runbooks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on repairs, upgrades, installations, and project activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, user experience, support processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism during time-sensitive situations.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across AV hardware, room systems, displays, microphones, cameras, speakers, control systems, and conferencing peripherals.
  • Fundamental understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, PoE, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting executive meetings, leadership events, or high-visibility business functions.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
