Job Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
TCL is seeking HVAC Adjunct Instructors to teach in Beaufort and Colleton County.
Job Duties:
Teaching Responsibilities1. Instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development
2. Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis
3. Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress
Instructional Development1. Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for the course
2. Work with other areas of the college such as Tutoring, Retention, etc. to help ensure student success
3. Prepare reports in cooperation with Division Dean for input in the planning/reporting system and/or for submission to the accrediting body of the College or program
Professional Development1. Attend relevant professional meetings
2. Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at the local, state, and national levels
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Two-year associate degree and experience working in the HVAC field. Teaching experience is preferred.
