JOB TITLE: Assembler / Dry Ice Operator (TEMPORARY – through Mid-October 2026)

Location: Exchange Center, Pella, IA

DEPARTMENT: Lely North America - Operations MANAGER: Product Manager

SUPERVISES: None FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt


Summary:

This is a temporary position expected to last through mid-October 2026, supporting reconditioning and production activities at the Exchange Center.


The Assembler/Dry Ice Operator performs tasks essential to the reconditioning process, restoring pre-owned or used products to a like-new condition. This includes inspection, cleaning (including dry ice blasting), repair, and quality assurance. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow standardized work to ensure all products meet company and customer standards. First shift, 8+ hours per day.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Inspect incoming products, parts, or equipment to assess conditions and determine necessary reconditioning steps

· Perform thorough cleaning, detailing, and cosmetic repairs using appropriate tools and products

· Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble items using mechanical or electrical tools as required

· Replace worn or defective components to restore full functionality and safety compliance

· Ensure all reconditioned items meet quality control standards before release

· Identify recurring defects and recommend process improvements

· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

· Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and inventory teams to meet daily/weekly production goals


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing and/or Assembly experience preferred.
