Temporary Administrative Assistant

Overview

Salary Range $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Category Family Services

Description

Role Summary:

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing customers' ledger accounts, provide outstanding customer services and back up to the Program Director.

This is a temporary full-time position.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee and manage all voucher, I/E, and DCF slots to ensure full enrollment;
  • Ensure the timely completion of intakes, reassessments, vouchers, and terminations;
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, processing provider changes as needed;
  • Maintain and update the slot enrollment log;
  • Send completed intake and reassessment paperwork as needed;
  • Track and monitor absences for enrolled children, and keep accurate records;
  • Communicate regularly with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to stay updated on relevant policies, and procedures;
  • Provide phone coverage and assist with other office tasks as needed;
  • All other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma is required;
  • Associate's Degree in related field is preferred;
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation;
  • Strong computer Skills (word, excel, outlook,);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong math & logic skills;
  • Works well in a team environment and independently when needed;
  • Flexibility, patience and a sense of humor essential;
