Job Title: Central Services Technician I

Location: 123 7555 Harmans Rd, Harmans, MD 21077, USA

Shift: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM (2-2-3 rotation)

Training: Must be available for 2โ€“4 weeks of day-shift training

Duration: 3 Months (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity for the Right Candidate)

Job Description:

Central Services Technician I to support GMP manufacturing operations at its Harmanโ€™s, Maryland facility. This role involves executing manufacturing batch records, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting daily operations using cGMP-compliant processes. The technician will work in a cleanroom environment, handling equipment and documentation with precision and care. This is a temp-to-hire role for candidates who demonstrate strong performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute GMP manufacturing batch records, SOPs, SMPs, and work instructions with a "right the first time" approach

Accurately document activities to meet cGMP standards and quality expectations

Operate central services equipment such as biological safety cabinets, mixers, autoclaves, washers, balances, and pH/conductivity meters

Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Recognize and eliminate waste in work processes

Adhere strictly to cGMP, quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Review GMP documentation daily for accuracy and completeness (e.g., Logbooks, SMPs, Batch Records)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

1โ€“2 years of experience in a GMP environment preferred (less experience accepted with higher education)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Able to work in a lean, fast-paced, action-oriented environment

Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and support functions

Willingness to perform other duties as needed to meet company objectives
