  • Prepare and break down operatories efficiently while maintaining strict sterilization protocols (OSHA/CDC compliant).
  • Anticipate doctor and patient needs to support a smooth, efficient clinical flow.
  • Provide patients with post-operative instructions and reinforce oral hygiene education.
  • Support implant and surgical procedures (training available if needed).
  • Maintain organized, fully stocked operatories and clinical areas.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-focused environment.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in New York State required.
  • Certification in expanded functions preferred (or relevant experience).
  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred.
  • Experience with digital X-rays and modern dental technology.
  • Familiarity with Dentrix (or similar PMS) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with implant, perio, or oral surgery procedures is a plus.

Schedule:
  • Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
  • Approximately 40 hours per week.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly pay: $34–$40 per hour (based on experience and skillset).
  • Paid time off.
  • Bonus opportunities.
  • Professional development and continuing education support.
  • Employee dental discount.
  • Supportive, growth-oriented team environment.

Why Join Westchester Gentle Dentistry:
  • Practice at the top of your license with expanded clinical responsibilities.
  • Work in a modern, technology-driven office (digital scanning, advanced procedures).
  • Be part of a growing practice expanding into implant and advanced care services.
  • Supportive team culture that values efficiency, communication, and patient comfort.
  • Opportunity for long-term growth as the practice continues to evolve.
