    What you'll be doing day to day
    As a Retail Store Associate, floating between various departments, contributing to a successful shopping experience, you will: • Actively approach customers requiring additional help identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes. • Keeps area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensures that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience. • Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers to help them make informed choices, resulting in a better overall shopping experience. • Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels. • Prepare, produce, and maintain IKEA Food menu items; serve all IKEA Food menu items; follow procedures and guidelines for safe food handling, cleanliness and sanitation, and workplace safety. • Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving. • Flow product to final selling location. • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
