i9 Sports is a recreational youth sports league teaching kids the fundamentals of soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball and volleyball. Our Mission is to Help Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports!
Job Summary
The Youth Sports Coordinator is responsible for delivering a great sports experience for kids and parents on game days. From coaching and high-fives, to equipment set up and organizing, to refereeing and game management, you'll have a blast teaching kids the fundamentals of sport!
Site Manager
This Youth Sports Coordinator position would work towards becoming Novato Site Manager in the Fall. The Site Manager oversees all staff, customers and sport programming on game-day ($25/hour).
Responsibilities
  • Assist parent volunteer coaches in leading practice sessions with kids ages 3-14 focusing on fundamentals and skill development across multiple sports - soccer, flag football, t-ball, basketball, volleyball
  • Facilitate and referee games - understand rules, keep score and time, focus on player improvement, be vocal and have a coaching mindset!
  • Teach & demonstrate the i9 Sports Sportsmanship values
  • Engage with kids and parents with a positive attitude and deliver a fantastic customer experience

This is a Good Fit If You
  • Have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following sports: soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, volleyball
  • Have experience working with kids
  • Are skilled at delivering positive customer service - are you outgoing, high energy, positive, upbeat!?
  • Have confidence and a strong presence to lead staff and handle customer interactions on gameday
  • Able to work weekends in Novato

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
