Innoved Institute was established in 2011, created to provide human cadaveric specimen, medical supplies and field lab services necessary for the advancement of the medical community. Innoved Institute is known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.
We are a growing company based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois that offers its employees flexible schedules and on the job training.
We’re looking for candidates to fill the Lab Associate role with the Instruments & Order Fulfillment team.
Requirements:
· A curiosity & a general comfort in working with human cadaveric specimen
· Familiarity with medical instrumentation preferred, but not required
· Intellectual curiosity & a desire to learn new disciplines
· Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
· Proven ability to multi-task effectively
· Computer proficiency including working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
· Strong organizational skills
· Self-motivated, professional, detail oriented; with excellent oral and written communication skills and has the ability to multi-task several projects. Attention to detail is a must!
· Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required 
Responsibilities:
· Assist in order packing, tissue pulling, and other Order fulfillment & Instrument related tasks
· Assist in organizing, cataloguing, and maintaining medical equipment & supplies.
· Disinfect surgical instrumentation
· Assist with deliveries/pickups of specimen & equipment from nearby facilities.
· Able to work under changing conditions and urgent needs
· Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and internal standards of procedure.
· Availability for additional hours on Sundays is highly preferred 
· Understand, enforce, and utilize safe lab practices and maintain a clean working environment and facility standards.
· Enforce and adhere to all policies and procedures while performing job functions
Physical Demands:
· Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
