What you will have an opportunity to do:
BASIC FUNCTION: The Recruiter manages the initial stages of the recruitment process for primarily high volume, non-management positions. This role reviews applications, conducts initial phone screens, and advances qualified candidates through the hiring process. The Recruiter helps ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and interview coordination.
  • Status: Temporary Assignment through December 2026 or later - Hybrid
  • Availability: Full Availability
  • Pay Rate: $24-27 per hour based on experience
  • Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Review incoming applications for non-management positions to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess work history, skills, availability, communication style, and overall fit for the position and the company.
  • Provide candidates with an overview of the company, position, scheduling expectations, and hiring process.
  • Advance qualified candidates to on-site interviews with hiring managers and coordinate onsite interview scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity with the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with applicants regarding application status and with managers regarding status of requisitions.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Occasionally support manager recruiting, candidate sourcing and Human Resources projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Hotel, restaurant, hospitality, or other high-volume service-industry experience preferred.
  • Experience conducting interviews and phone screening candidates preferred.
  • Strong computer skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook. Microsoft Teams experience desirable.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System or Human Resources information system preferred. Workday Recruit experience desirable.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED.
