Temporary Hotel Bellhop Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Position:Bellman
Department:Operations/Bellstand
Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)
• Smile, greet and welcome guest
• Load and unload luggage from bell cart
• Accompany guest to room
• Explain hotel amenities to guest
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Answer bellstand telephone
• Make room deliveries when necessary
• Obtain transportation for guest
• Maintain room key control
• Shoe Shine and pickup/delivery
Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days)
• 40 hours per week
• Need to be available nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be available for overtime when needed
• Subject to winter lay-off
Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)
• Prior hotel experience preferred
Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)
• Must be able to speak plainly and comfortably to guest
• Able to speak clearly over the phone
Technical Requirements:
• Must be able to learn lay-out of the hotel and location of all amenities
• Drivers license required
