Job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Barn Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a hands-on barn environment. This role includes daily horse care, barn maintenance, and support with general farm operations to help ensure the well-being of the horses and the cleanliness and safety of the facility.

Duties

· Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring their overall health and well-being.

· Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed for barn operations.

· Clean stalls, paddocks, and barn areas to maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized environment.

· Utilize power tools for various tasks related to barn upkeep and repairs.

· Assist with heavy lifting tasks, including moving feed, bedding, supplies, and equipment.

· Work outdoors in various weather conditions while following barn safety procedures.

· Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to support the team as needed.

Experience

· Previous experience in equine care or barn work is preferred but not required.

· Familiarity with operating heavy equipment is beneficial.

· Experience using power tools is helpful for completing basic repairs and improvements around the barn.

· Ability to perform physical labor and heavy lifting throughout the workday is essential.

Schedule

· Day shift: 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

· Holidays

· Weekends as needed
