LHH is seeking a detail-driven Housing Navigator for a temporary, project-based assignment with a strong focus on file auditing, compliance, and program support. This role will primarily function in a quality assurance capacity, ensuring housing program documentation, assessments, and financial tracking meet required standards.
This position is ideal for someone with housing or case management experience who prefers reviewing files, identifying gaps, and supporting program accuracy and compliance over high-volume caseload management.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive file reviews and audits to ensure client records are accurate, complete, and compliant with program guidelines
- Review housing assessments, service plans, and case notes for quality and consistency
- Identify documentation gaps, missing information, or compliance issues and provide recommendations for correction
- Verify and track financial assistance requests, ensuring proper documentation and approval alignment
- Support data integrity within HMIS/Clarity systems, including auditing entries for accuracy
- Provide limited client-facing support, including conducting interviews or administering housing assessments as needed
- Ensure alignment with housing program standards, policies, and timelines
- Collaborate with program staff to improve workflows, documentation practices, and reporting accuracy
Minimum Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housing navigation, case management, or social services within a nonprofit environment
- Strong proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite, HMIS and/or Clarity systems
- Experience working with programs serving individuals experiencing homelessness
- Demonstrated ability to review, audit, and validate documentation for accuracy and compliance
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
