Job description

Hallmark Aviation Services is a premier airline customer service provider for some of the world's leading airlines. We contract with INTERNATIONAL & DOMESTIC AIRLINES to provide exceptional services to passengers, including First & Business Class guests.

Hallmark employees provide clients and travelers "Peace of Mind" in the hustle and bustle of today's travel experience.
We are seeking a Team Member with exceptional people and communication skills, strong work ethic and superior attention to detail skills.

Ensures timely processing of workers' compensation claims; evaluates accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness and to ensure adequate investigation; ensures that the company is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  

  • Processing and overseeing documentation, status reports, and claims
  • Maintaining subrogation records
  • Monitoring pay inequities
  • Ensuring work restrictions are clear
  • Helping employees file incident reports
  • Educating employees about workers' compensation policies and procedures
  • Evaluating claims applications
  • Assisting with complex claims and issuing payments
  • Coordinating with claimants and partner resources to resolve cases 
  • Evaluates accident report
  • Ensuring the timely processing of medical bills and temporary total disability benefits
  • Reviews medical reports, witness statements, department investigation results and other documentation. Compiles facts and data regarding accident reports and filed cases.
  • Reviews accident reports to identify patterns of injury and to determine whether unsafe conditions contributed to the accident; advises departments of trends in injuries and proper safety procedures that may result in reduction of injuries; provides department with information that will aid in reducing accidents and improve safety. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of applicable workers compensation laws, procedures, and regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical and technical terminology used in workers compensation cases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to explain rules and policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication
  • Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public
  • Decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously with self-direction
  • Well-developed team skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence, and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships and sensitive HR issues
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions
  • Strong administrative and data management skills
  • Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of HRIS system(s)
  • Strong administrative and data management skills

Required Experience
  • Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information
  • Previous experience in an administrative or similar HR role preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Obtain and retain an Airport Security Access with customs clearance (pass a Federal Background Check & FBI Fingerprinting)
