Job description

Advanced Systems Group, LLC enables creativity through better technology and operations for media creatives and content owners. From acquisition to delivery, on-premises or in the cloud, ASG ensures our clients' success through tailored solutions. One of North America's largest Media and Entertainment Technology and Operations suppliers, we provide engineering services, physical and cloud integration, training, support, and managed services. Our Managed Services deliver customized operations and services for all phases of media production, including creative and engineering. Founded in 1997, and providing nationwide services, ASG has teams based in North America, South America, and Europe.
We are looking for:
We are seeking a talented UX Designer to support our client's site builds from a design and technical perspective. This role demands a specialist who views design systems as a living product, possessing a deep-seated passion for information architecture and systematic organization. You will create visually elegant, accessible resources that empower users of all technical proficiencies. By bridging the gap between Development and Product Design, you will ensure brand consistency and UI integrity across our client's digital footprint, turning high-level complexity into intuitive, scalable design solutions.
This role is remote, FT Temp through 12/31/26 with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
  • Build original site designs in Figma for Learning Management Systems (LMS) using systems-driven expertise.
  • Implement changes across web, and occasionally mobile, platforms.
  • Partner with Designers and Multimedia team for branding guidelines, adhering and creating within the established design standards.
  • Create new content (guidelines, accessibility, content strategy) with guidance from existing documentation, brand guidelines, and manager input.
  • Use critical thinking to make high-level information more accessible for all capabilities.
  • Adhere to workflow and timelines as assigned, communicating when issues arise.
  • Create and deliver the most accurate and fluid product screen mocks that appropriately represent the live product within constant updates and change.
  • Initiate communications with design team leaders across the organization, and collaborate to develop net-new assets based on the live product or the design modifications currently in progress.
  • Audit, organize, and optimize internal UX component libraries to enhance consistency, usability, and accessibility across multiple product surfaces.
  • Evaluate existing sites and products for usability.
  • Develop personas, user stories and other resources that capture users' needs.
  • Organize and run user testing.
  • Explore and implement other ways to gather and incorporate users' feedback.

Competencies:
  • Systems-Driven Thinking: Ability to view UI as an interconnected, structural module rather than isolated, static pages.
  • Collaborative Attitude: Top-tier communication, flexibility and a willingness to adapt and help out team members is essential.
  • High-Level Visual Craft: Exceptional mastery of layout theory, typographic hierarchy, data visualization, and responsive grid systems.
  • Data Structure Comprehension: Familiarity with concepts like JSON structure to ensure design variables map cleanly to code.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience working in UX/UI Design.
  • Advanced Figma Mastery: Complete fluency with complex mechanics like nested components, properties, boolean variables, Auto Layout, and library publishing.
  • Accessibility Compliance (a11y): Deep knowledge of WCAG standards, including contrast ratios, focus states, touch targets, and screen-reader logic.
  • Front-End Technical Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS/SASS, flexbox, and layout grids.
