Position Summary

The Bartender / Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service to golf course guests in both bar and dining areas. This hybrid role supports clubhouse operations by preparing beverages, taking and delivering food orders, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience for golfers, members, and event attendees.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesBartending Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Verify age requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware and equipment
  • Restock bar supplies including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes
  • Open and close bar according to established procedures
Server / Waitstaff Responsibilities
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately from guests in the clubhouse, patio, or dining area
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure order accuracy
  • Provide attentive table service, including checking on guests and responding to requests
  • Process payments using POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
  • Clear and reset tables to maintain a clean dining environment
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
General Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, professional service to all members, guests, and event participants
  • Assist with golf tournaments, outings, and special events (setup, service, breakdown)
  • Maintain cleanliness of all service areas, including bar and dining spaces
  • Monitor guest behavior and promote a safe, enjoyable environment
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
  • Previous bartending and/or serving experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, wine, and food service practices
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to carry trays and lift up to 3040 pounds
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule Expectations
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Availability for tournaments and special events required
