Position Summary
The Member Relations & Club Experience Coordinator serves as a key ambassador for The Golf Club at South River and plays a vital role in cultivating meaningful relationships with members, guests, prospective members, and event hosts. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for enhancing the overall member experience through personalized engagement, proactive communication, event support, membership stewardship, and relationship-building initiatives.
This role is designed for a hospitality professional who understands that exceptional clubs are built through strong relationships. The ideal candidate is a highly visible presence throughout the Club, someone who naturally connects with people, anticipates needs, celebrates milestones, creates memorable experiences, and helps strengthen member loyalty and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Member Relations
  • Build strong relationships with members and families
  • Lead onboarding and engage members through outreach and recognition
  • Promote participation in Club programs, events, and amenities
  • Gather and support follow-up on member feedback

Communications & Marketing
  • Assist with newsletters, event promotions, and Club communications
  • Support social media and ensure consistent messaging
  • Maintain event calendars and communication timelines

Events & Experience
  • Support planning and execution of events, tournaments, and social functions
  • Act as host to ensure a welcoming, engaging member experience
  • Coordinate across teams for seamless event delivery

Business Development
  • Drive member engagement to increase participation and revenue
  • Promote dining, events, and Club offerings
  • Support tours and prospective member visits

Administrative Support
  • Track member engagement and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with meetings, reporting, and operational projects
  • Support Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
